Florida's Children's Medical Services (CMS) offers medical care to children who have special medical needs, including children who are born with cleft lips or palates.  Dr. Stieg is currently the only Plastic Surgeon affiliated with Orlando's CMS Cleft Clinic.

The last Thursday morning of every month, Dr. Stieg joins a team of other medical professionals in order to assess the progress and determine treatments needed for Central Florida children with clefts.  In addition to the plastic surgeon, the team includes oral surgeons, orthodontists, pediatric dentists, pediatricians, ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) doctors, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, audiologists, geneticists, and social workers.  Representatives from the Central Florida family support group, Special Smiles, are also part of this multidisciplinary team.  To email Special Smiles, please click here.
