Browlift, or forehead lift, corrects drooping
(ptosis) of your eyebrows and minimizes the
“worry” lines across your forehead – lines that
make you look tired, sad, or angry – to give you
a more relaxed, youthful, and refreshed
appearance.
Dr. Stieg is often able to achieve sufficient
lift of the brow during upper blepharoplasty
surgery (upper eyelid lift) using the same
incisions.
The internal structures of the forehead
can be tightened or lifted this way, without
requiring incisions in the scalp usually
required for browlift.
In our office, browlift is usually performed in
conjunction with blepharoplasty (eyelid lift).

If you would like to schedule a consultation to
discuss browlift with Dr. Stieg or Dr. Paresi, please call our

As is the case with blepharoplasty, visual
changes can occur with forehead surgery and any
patient with glaucoma, cataracts, retinal
problems, previous eye or forehead surgeries, or
tearing problems (overly dry or moist eyes)
should consult an ophthalmologist (eye doctor)
before undergoing browlift.
BOTOX injections or aggressive skin care may be
acceptable alternative treatments for patients
who are not good candidates for browlift or who
are concerned about minor lines or wrinkles in
the forehead.
